okay. so anyways, continuation from this morning. to cut saturday evening short, we had KFC for dinner, watched performances by other schools, then rocked the house. this school played "chan mali chan" so we just "sang" emphasizing on the "chan" part. really. joanna and natasha's nonsense. we played "big fun in the sun", "saturday night fever" and the propaganda song "stand up for singapore". urgh. the person incharge of the spot lights must be a complete dope. cant make it turn properly. i couldnt see most of the songs cuz the damned light was shining on to my face. like, wow!! look!! it's the lights pro!! --my ass.
sunday nothing much. except that i finally got my math homework done. phew. but that does not mean its correct. went to the popular sale at expo. got quite a number of story books and science experiment things. they were playing the english version of "lao shu ai da mi". really corny. just the the mouse likes the rice? seriously.
today we got our english CA papers back. I PASSED!! i thought i would fail. i didnt finish it. didnt even get to the interesting bit. ah well.
assembly was a talk from this sergeant. about gangsterism. the 20 minute show was quite good. about this girl was imprisoned because she and her "friends" ganged up on someone becuase of a boyfriend thing. then it shows her having difficulties applying for jobs. and when she was released from prison, the friend that called her "chicken" before probably stole her boyfriend or something. Oh! and it show her appreciating the comforts of home cuz in prison she only gets bread and a drink and at home, her mother would get bee hoon for breakfast and she would complain about having the same food everyday.
band was alright. kind of slacked during sectionals. Aprilia was quite stressed about something. I thought i was left to play the 1st trombone part by myself cuz by the end of sectionals, Joan hadnt come yet. she came later though. tried out Japanese Graffiti IV. it didntn sound as bad as Omens Of Love. thank God Joan came. Jap Graffiti has a trombone solo.
IJTP is being invaded by RJC guys. really! it so irritating!! they want to hail a taxi, the group of them stand bunched up at the curb BY THE MAIN ROAD which is, by the way, already small enough. and when Eleanor, Samantha Cynthia and I wanted to walk there, we had to walk ON THE MAIN ROAD just to be on our "happy" way to go to the bus-stop home. they didnt even BUDGE.
on the bus, there was this guy, teenager, talking on his phone quite loudly to his friend. about this girl that wore a red top and forgot to wear it cuz she stayed in the boyfriends house and apparently couldnt find it. i mean, really!! do the people on the bus need to know? the bus was PACKED. there were at least 20 people who could hear you. Sam and i just looked at each other, shook our heads, giggled/chuckled, and i said "time to giggle, laugh, barf" who wouldnt?
news. my internet connection at home will be cut. thanks to my "beloved" sister Agnes who hid the connecting cable from my mom which mom brings to work to be sure we wouldnt spend our entire day online. mom got angry obviously. could tell she wanted to chuck the monitor and maybe the CPU out of the window. we live on the 6th floor. oh whoopee. praise the lord. im sure the com will live from the impact on the concrete.
just remebered something. Natasha Seow sms-ed me last week just to say hi and ask more nonsensical questions about Terence Gomes and Brendan DeSousa. and to ask, again, if i'm having a wonderful time with Louis. W. T. F. so anyways, didnt reply lah. so she sms-ed again half-an-hour or so later saying "whoa!! you take so long to reply!! like Terence Gomes"
now THAT's the world greatest insult.
